Musical Masters in Hawaii
About two weeks ago, me and my friends decided to take some much needed R&R and took the night off. We headed down to the west side of Oahu and had a few drinks at the club in Mililani known as the "Shack."
The mood was festive and my friends and I had a good time. However, there was one thing about the night which impressed me. It was the music that was coming from the live band performing for the crowd.
What impressed me the most was that this band was quite diverse in the music that they played. It did not matter whether the song was soft rock, R&B, oldies or contemporary. The band had the rhythm to sway the crowd and the music was awesome every song.
Now I know that I am not an authority on music. However as you know, our magazine is not just about automotive enthusiasts and their lifestyle. Our magazine is also connected with the fashion and music industry as well.
The band that was playing that night was none other that Island Music Craze Kawao. Founded in 2003 by Walt G and China Hinol of Waianae, KAWAO has exploded onto Hawaii's entertainment scene and has been gaining a large number of fans in the islands over the past two years.
KAWAO is the hawaiian for "one heart, one soul, one sound." A unique name, it was given to the band by Hawaiian Culture |
